In a significant victory, law firm Uche P.C. has secured a $1.25 million settlement for a client injured by an off-duty police officer's DUI-induced accident.
Uche P.C. is pleased to announce that State Farm Insurance has agreed to award a settlement to our client in the amount of $1.25 million.
On October 17, 2020, an off-duty police officer crashed his car, head-on, into a vehicle carrying our client. The off-duty officer was subsequently arrested and charged with two counts of felony DUI.
As a result of the crash, our client sustained a ruptured bladder and a fractured right femur bone as well as having to undergo two surgeries.
After negotiations, State Farm Insurance has agreed to settle this case for the Maximum policy limit of $1.25M.
